The geniuses at Waffle House are serving up a new waffle that’s inspired by one of our favorite spring treats.
The Georgia-based chain announced on social media this week that the fan favorite strawberry waffle is back on the menu, but with a fun twist.
A strawberry shortcake in waffle form? Yes, please!
A golden strawberry waffle topped with shortcake crunch, Waffle House has outdone themselves with the new Strawberry Shortcake Waffle and customers can’t wait to try it.
“Dreams do come true,” one fan commented on Instagram.
“This is the best day of my life,” another wrote.
A Waffle House rep confirmed with Southern Living that the Strawberry Shortcake Waffle is available now at all locations, but only for a limited time.
It’s been years since Waffle House added a new waffle to the permanent menu, but they’ve been keeping us busy with limited time offerings. They gave us S’mores Waffles and Strawberry Waffles in 2024 and Pumpkin Spice Waffles in 2023. What’s next?
